Background

This Challenge was formed whilst recovering from a bad burst appendix, a time when I could not run, swim or do anything other than walk, so what walking challenges could I dream up - I know climb the highest point in each county of England

Ebrington Hill Warwickshire - 4 September 2010

Having spent some quality time with the kids and of course Amalie, also a few beers with Jez, drove up to Cotswold village of Ebrinton, then after some help from locals on to the village of Hidcote Bartrim except I was one lane out but found other locals who pointed me in direction of footpath and even suppied walking map on loan! A gentle walk up the hill through fields to road running up to radio masts which appeared to be high point, not certain there may be a trig point went on explore and finally found trig point tucked away in corner of a field. Worked my way dowm to Hidecote Manor and gardens reported to be second most beautiful in England. From here back to car via fields full of sunflowers, and then returned walking map to owners.
