Previosly identified in pub 'The Pheasnt' (See Cambridgeshire)as being in Langley Woods, searched around Langley and called in at village fair which also had arranged fly past of spitfire, got to Lanley Woods and met up with fellow county top trekker who turned out to be Alan Hinkes OBE famed for climbing all 12 world highest peaks including Everest and K2, he was doing all counties in one week but thought it might take a bit longer. He and I searched down high point in woods and made committment to keep in touch during our county challenge. |
Background
This Challenge was formed whilst recovering from a bad burst appendix, a time when I could not run, swim or do anything other than walk, so what walking challenges could I dream up - I know climb the highest point in each county of England
